The BOS software update for Bphone was released by Bkav on the morning of July 6. According to Bkav, all Bphones already on the market can be updated in the form of OTA through an Internet connection without having to use a computer or send the device to Bkav. Depending on the model, the size of this update ranges from a few MB to several tens of MB.
This is the first BOS software update released for Bphone via OTA after some feedback from early users about the camera’s poor quality. In addition to the photography part, Bkav said that they also have hundreds of other small changes at BOS. The first noticeable point in the new update of Bphone is that the butterfly image on the lock screen is sharper, reduced, and the system font looks thinner and sharper.
In the main interface of the home screen, the application icons are minimized, so they look more airy. The ” Weather ” and ” Photos ” app icons have been changed, the new default wallpaper is a scene taken in Nha Trang.
The interface on the right is of the new version. The quick settings bar when swiping from the bottom edge of the BOS is made longer, changed to a darker blue tone, and there are some adjustments in the position of the connection quick setting keys. Users if needed can also change these keys according to their own habits for ease of use.
The notification bar when swiping from the top edge also has changes in color, icons and no longer displays the weather area. Tweaks of BOS make it more convenient to use than the old version, for example, the quick delete notification key ( the trash can icon ) is placed in the corner by default, not moving like in the old BOS.
In addition, the interface of some applications developed exclusively by Bkav such as ” notes “, ” reminders ” has been completed, adding annotation content. The camera on the new BOS version has changed markedly, the interface looks more open, the toolbar is separated from the capture key area. Panorama, movie or slow-motion modes are arranged in a way that is easy to understand and use.
