From iOS 16.2, iPhone has added a feature to filter spam messages, phishing messages, helping users limit spam messages and scams. Currently, this feature has been applied from iOS 16.2 and above for you to use, although this feature has not been completely blocked. However, you can combine the registration to block spam messages on the switchboard with this feature to further support the blocking of spam messages. The following article will guide you to filter spam messages on iPhone.
Step 1:
At the Settings interface on the iPhone, we click on the Message item to adjust the message on the phone.
Step 2:
In this new interface, users will need to enable Filter unknown senders in the Message Filter section to use this feature on iPhone. This feature will put messages from unknown contacts into a separate list.
Step 3:
Open the Messages application on the phone and then click on the Filter item in the left corner of the interface as shown to see the message filter items on the phone.
Step 4:
Now we will see the message filter items on the phone. iPhone automatically recognizes whether the incoming message is spam and will classify it as one of 3 known senders, unknown senders, or spam.
However, there will also be a wrong case when the message you need to read is put in spam messages and because there is no notification with those spam messages, we need to check again.
