Instagram has now added the ability to create polls in Instagram Stories in the form of stickers. This poll creation feature allows you to ask questions and see the results of votes from friends and followers.

With this feature, you can make important decisions more informed. And just like your story, it also disappears with the results after 24 hours. Now follow these steps to create a poll in Instagram Stories.
Step 1 . Open the Instagram app, select the Home tab (the house icon).
Step 2 . Tap the camera icon in the top left corner or swipe from left to right to open the camera.
Step 3 . Next, take a photo or video as usual. Tap the shutter button to take a photo, or tap and hold to record a short video. Tap the small 2 arrow icon to switch between the front and rear cameras.
Or you can tap the icon in the lower left corner to select the photos/videos you’ve taken in the last 24 hours from the Photos library.
Step 4 . Next, tap the Emoji icon located at the top or swipe up from the bottom.
Step 5 . Tap the Poll button – Poll.
Step 6 . Now, you need to write the question and customize the answer accordingly. Currently, each question has only 2 answer options.
Use creative tools like color for text, brushes, alignment tools for shapes, text to make your poll more beautiful and neat.
When choosing a color for text or drawings, a small icon will appear on the left side. You can use it to pick a color from an image or video and apply it to text or a drawing.
When you move text or stickers over a photo or video, you’ll see blue lines that let you align the question and answer correctly.
Step 7 . Click Next to continue, select Your Story at the top and click Send to post the poll.
Now your friends and followers can vote by tapping on one of the two options you provided. They will also be able to see the results at that time.
When newcomers vote, they also see which option is in the lead.
Step 1 . Open Instagram.
Step 2 . Click on the profile icon in the top left corner.
Step 3 . Select the story you created a comment on and swipe up to check the list of viewers.
Step 4 . Here you will see the number of votes for each option as well as the choice that each person has selected.
